This is a test to evaluate the function and structure of the thyroid gland.
- Allow 1 hour.
- No preparation required – you may eat, drink and dress normally.
- Bring recent thyroid ultrasound and thyroid function test results if available.
- If you are currently taking any thyroid medications or had any iodine contrast injections in the previous 3 months, please notify our staff team while making your appointment. Special preparations are required prior to perform your thyroid scan.
